『壹』 Dynamics和Kinetics有什麼區別
以前學物理的時候, 知道kinematics翻譯為"運動學".
比如, 在學質點運動的時候,kinematics僅僅討論位移(r),
速度(v), 加速度(a), 時間(t)的關系, 並不探究影響運動的因素.
r=r0+v0*t+1/2*a*t^2
就是一個運動學方程.其中r0, v0分別是初始位移和速度.
v=v0+a*t也是運動學方程.
只要知道了r=r(t), 運動學的問題基本就解決了.
用粗淺的說法, 就是: 運動學不關心影響運動的"力".
另外, Kinematics多指機械運動學.

學物理的人, 其實開始並碰不到Kinetics這個詞.
(kinetic不一樣, 比如動能就是kinetic energy.)
特別是學力學的時候, 一般先接觸到上面的kinematics(運動學),
緊接著就是Dynamics(翻譯成動力學), 基本上就是牛頓第二定律(F=ma).
也就是說,力學里的dynamics關心力對運動的作用.
質點的受力情況決定了a, 加上初始條件r0, v0, 就可以得到質點的運動學.
用粗淺的說法, 就是:dynamics研究的是什麼在驅動,在影響物體的運動及其變化.
翻譯成動力學合適.

那麼Kinetics是什麼? 很多人也把它翻譯成"動力學". 這就容易跟dynamics混糊塗了.
比如有一本還比較流行的教材:
Chemical Kinetics and Dynamics (by JI Steinfeld等).
請問書名怎麼翻譯成中文? 也很奇怪, 我還真沒找到它的中文版.
當然, 有可能是因為書不夠經典, 也不夠老.
我自己接觸kinetics比較多的是在化學反應的場合.
最近看到一本書:是唐敖慶等寫的<<分子反應動態學>>.
我覺得"動態學"這個說法很好.
或許就是kinetics的在化學反應里的對應的中文表達.
在我的理解里, kinetics注重的是某種量(比如某反應物的濃度)隨時間的變化.
它也不追究產生這種變化的"力".
dynamics雖然不可避免地也含有"隨時間變化"的意思, 但是它注重的是"力",是"驅動".

當我問兩位美國研究生時, 他們也說不出兩者的區別.
另外, 我一直對dynamics的使用感到不適.
比如很多文章標題含有vibrational dynamics, 但是文章中並沒有談到"力".
還有, thermodynamics(被翻譯成熱力學) 的"力"體現在哪裡?
等等.

Kinetics（運動學）涉及到物體運動的概念，而dynamics（動力學）則側重於力和其作用的效果的研究。
dynamics是描述運動原因的，是動力學。kinematics是描述運動狀態的，是運動學（又譯作動理學）。換句話講，我們能說Kinetics是在研究物體的運動方式，從宏觀上來研究；而Dynamics是研究的是運動的原因以及如何產生的運動，從微觀上來研究。

考察dynamic和dynamical的區別，我發現原來很多人也搞不清楚，而在詞典中，這兩個詞經常是混用的。當然Dynamic還可以是一個名詞而Dynamical只能是一個形容詞。Dynamic做名詞時，其實就是dynamics的單數形式，表示一種基本的或動態的力，特別是那種導致、促進或影響發育、發展或穩定性的力。
