『壹』 Dynamics和Kinetics有什么区别
以前学物理的时候, 知道kinematics翻译为"运动学".
比如, 在学质点运动的时候,kinematics仅仅讨论位移(r),
速度(v), 加速度(a), 时间(t)的关系, 并不探究影响运动的因素.
r=r0+v0*t+1/2*a*t^2
就是一个运动学方程.其中r0, v0分别是初始位移和速度.
v=v0+a*t也是运动学方程.
只要知道了r=r(t), 运动学的问题基本就解决了.
用粗浅的说法, 就是: 运动学不关心影响运动的"力".
另外, Kinematics多指机械运动学.

学物理的人, 其实开始并碰不到Kinetics这个词.
(kinetic不一样, 比如动能就是kinetic energy.)
特别是学力学的时候, 一般先接触到上面的kinematics(运动学),
紧接着就是Dynamics(翻译成动力学), 基本上就是牛顿第二定律(F=ma).
也就是说,力学里的dynamics关心力对运动的作用.
质点的受力情况决定了a, 加上初始条件r0, v0, 就可以得到质点的运动学.
用粗浅的说法, 就是:dynamics研究的是什么在驱动,在影响物体的运动及其变化.
翻译成动力学合适.

那么Kinetics是什么? 很多人也把它翻译成"动力学". 这就容易跟dynamics混糊涂了.
比如有一本还比较流行的教材:
Chemical Kinetics and Dynamics (by JI Steinfeld等).
请问书名怎么翻译成中文? 也很奇怪, 我还真没找到它的中文版.
当然, 有可能是因为书不够经典, 也不够老.
我自己接触kinetics比较多的是在化学反应的场合.
最近看到一本书:是唐敖庆等写的<<分子反应动态学>>.
我觉得"动态学"这个说法很好.
或许就是kinetics的在化学反应里的对应的中文表达.
在我的理解里, kinetics注重的是某种量(比如某反应物的浓度)随时间的变化.
它也不追究产生这种变化的"力".
dynamics虽然不可避免地也含有"随时间变化"的意思, 但是它注重的是"力",是"驱动".

当我问两位美国研究生时, 他们也说不出两者的区别.
另外, 我一直对dynamics的使用感到不适.

Kinetics（运动学）涉及到物体运动的概念，而dynamics（动力学）则侧重于力和其作用的效果的研究。
dynamics是描述运动原因的，是动力学。kinematics是描述运动状态的，是运动学（又译作动理学）。换句话讲，我们能说Kinetics是在研究物体的运动方式，从宏观上来研究；而Dynamics是研究的是运动的原因以及如何产生的运动，从微观上来研究。

考察dynamic和dynamical的区别，我发现原来很多人也搞不清楚，而在词典中，这两个词经常是混用的。当然Dynamic还可以是一个名词而Dynamical只能是一个形容词。Dynamic做名词时，其实就是dynamics的单数形式，表示一种基本的或动态的力，特别是那种导致、促进或影响发育、发展或稳定性的力。
