Bill Firpo（Nicolas Cage飾）自己能保證做一個誠實的人，但他卻無法拒絕他那兩個作姦犯科的兄弟的花言巧語，總是加入他們一夥，出去到處招搖撞騙。在他的兩個兄弟中，Dave（Jon Lovitz飾）是一個相當聰明的人，而Alvin（Dana Carvey飾）Dana Carvey則是一個有盜竊癖的人。他們發現搶劫小鎮上的銀行竟然如此簡單，那家銀行竟連一點抵抗的能力都沒有。接下來他們面臨的問題就是，他們能不能在暴風雪來臨之前趕快從小鎮上逃走。當聖誕節悄悄來臨的時候，他們三個人背著他們的戰利品在被瑟瑟寒風包圍小鎮上東躲西藏，後來又不慎掉下橋，恰巧被一位好心的年輕人救上岸，這位年輕人更是把他們邀請到家裡款待他們豐盛的晚餐。無意中，他們發現，那位年輕人正是他們曾經蒙面打劫時要挾過的銀行經理。面對這位年輕人慈悲的心，他們漸漸被融化了……

劇情簡介：
